Lycian way
(Lycian way. Eastern Section)

A journey where the sea meets the mountains, and history blends with living nature.

This route is designed for those who dream of walking one of the most beautiful trails in the world at a relaxed pace, with comfortable accommodation and time for rest.

On the way we will enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea, the scent of pine and thyme, ancient cities, panoramic mountain passes, and the feeling of a true journey that stays with you long after it ends.

Almost the entire route follows the Mediterranean coastline.

You will enjoy:

  • - turquoise waters and secluded coves,
  • - swimming right during the trek,
  • - beaches with white pebbles and rare black volcanic sand,
  • - breathtaking sea views from mountain trails.
  • Here, the Lycian Way is a constant change of terrain:
  • - ascents and descents through pine-covered slopes,
  • - narrow paths with dizzying views,
  • - the ascent of Mount Tahtalı (2,366 m), the highest point of the route.
  • The contrast is especially striking: in the morning you walk among pine trees, and by afternoon you are swimming in the warm sea. The trail literally runs through history:
  • - the ruins of ancient Olympos hidden in greenery,
  • - ancient stone roads and remnants of old walls,
  • - the Chimaera Flames — a legendary place where natural fire has been burning from the earth for thousands of years,
  • - Cape Gelidonya Lighthouse — the symbol of the route, offering sweeping views of the islands and the open sea, often becoming the highlight of the entire journey.
  • Here, mythology and reality intertwine in a truly special way. Comfortable Trekking Without Backpacks
