Unknown Kyrgyzstan

“Unknown Kyrgyzstan” is a series of journeys inspired by the books of Sergey Dudashvili. These itineraries are designed for travellers who want to venture beyond the usual tourist routes, discover lesser-known places and learn the stories connected with them.

The series draws inspiration from Sergey Dudashvili’s books about the nature, history, people and little-explored corners of Kyrgyzstan. Rather than retracing his expeditions exactly, it offers new travel itineraries inspired by the places and events described in his works.

Travellers will visit places where mountain landscapes preserve traces of the past and where an apparently ordinary road may lead to a remarkable natural phenomenon, an ancient monument or a small village with a story of its own.
