A Meeting with Denis Urubko at Our Moscow Office.
Today, something truly inspiring happened at our office — we were visited by Denis Urubko, a legend of world mountaineering, writer, and our longtime friend.
Over a cup of coffee, we talked about his Urubko Camp project in Pakistan. Denis shared fascinating stories from his recent expeditions, spoke about his impressions, and outlined plans for the upcoming season.
We reminisced about friends, discussed ideas for future climbs, and shared plenty of laughter. The atmosphere was warm and lively — the kind that happens only when your guest is someone for whom mountains are not just a sport, but a whole philosophy of life.
A special moment of the meeting was receiving a gift from Denis — two of his new books, each signed personally. We’ll be reading them together at the office, drawing inspiration from his experiences, and dreaming of new summits ahead.
