Armenia is an open-air museum and one of the oldest countries in the world. You will be able to enjoy the most delicious and organic fruits and vegetables, taste delicious Armenian traditional cuisine, discover breathtaking Christian monasteries, temples and churches, experience Armenian culture during the day time and enjoy walking around modern Yerevan at night.

We invite you to visit the majestic Khor Virap that originally was used as a prison, and where Hieromartyr Gregory, Enlightener of Greater Armenia was locked up without food and water for 13 years. You will also visit the mysterious monastery of Geghard, half carved into the rock, dating back over 800 years; walk along the Khndzoresk bridge swinging over the abyss to the Tatev monastery - the pearl of medieval Armenian architecture and look at another masterpiece of medieval architecture, the Noravank monastery, towering among high rocks, keeping a sad love story within its walls.

The hospitality of Armenians is worth a special mention. An ancient Armenian proverb says: “A guest is a messenger of God” and “If a person stays in your house for three days - he is a guest, on the fourth day he is already a younger brother.” Many travelers who have visited different countries note that nowhere else they have seen such kindness, generosity and cordiality as in Armenia. This unique nation, which has endured so many troubles and hardships over many centuries, has not lost its faith in people. Here you are always welcome and you can always find help from any passerby.

Traveling in Armenia, you are traveling in a country with a rich history and a great past. The Armenian civilization stretched from Persia to Eastern Europe and was home to many significant historical events such as the beginning of wine production and the first adoption of Christianity. This country has survived despite dozens of others and although it is now small and often impossible to see on the world map, it will provide you with a lot of uniqueness and will leave a long lasting impression.

This monastery was built in the 4th century; it is carved directly into the rock and is listed by UNESCO. We also have to visit a pagan temple of Greek style, the two meters long stones of which are fastened together with one-of-a-kind brackets and pins. Goris - Tatev Monastery - Khndzoresk Bridge - Karahunj - Shaki Waterfall - Yerevan. After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, real adventures are waiting for us today. Tatev is the hallmark of Armenia. The monastery proudly standing over the abyss keeps many secrets. Looking down, it seems that you are floating; hence its name comes from this feeling, and literally the name is translated as "Give Wings." Next, we will have to walk by the Khndzoresk bridge swinging over the abyss. It is breathtaking, but by walking on it, one can overcome all his fears. And the unique caves under the bridge will be a great addition to the overall picture. After such an unusual attraction, we will visit the Shaki waterfall. Waterfalls are certainly beautiful natural phenomena but in Armenia such miracles are also created by people. This huge waterfall is artificial, however it is in no way less beautiful than natural ones, and it also delights with the non-standard idea of the author.

Karahunj is another place that we will visit today. The Armenian version of the British "Stonehenge" - a place shrouded in a veil of mystery and controversy. Giant stones have been standing on top of each other for so many centuries without a single fixation. They will surprise you with their grandeur and the atmosphere reigning there.
