Trekking to Muztagh-Ata base camp

Trekking to Muztagh-Ata Base Camp in China. We offer you to join our collective group and make an unforgettable journey.
There are two program’s options: to start it from Bishkek or from Kashgar. When the way starts in Bishkek you will drive a beautiful mountain road to a small town Naryn. You will stay in local family guest house. The next day you will continue driving to the border. The car will come to famous Torugart pass 3752m. Kyrgyz-Chinese border is located here. It will take some time to cross it.
Then the way leads to Kashgar. Distance is about 165 km. Night in a good hotel in Kashgar.
The next day you will drive about 200 km (5 hours) to Karakul lake (3652 m). Camping nearby the lake. And the next day starts trekking part of the program.
Trekking in the area of Muztagh-Ata peak is a fantastic journey. Trekking part will take you to the Base Camp where you will see climbers that prepare for Muztagh-Ata summit. Base Camp is located at the altitude 4350 m. You will have a chance to see Janblak glacier.
The next day it will take you 3 hours to get back to Subashi and continue driving to Kashgar. You will have a city tour in Kashgar and see all famous places there: Abakh Khoja Tomb, Id Kah Mosque, Kashgar Grand Bazaar, Kashgar Old Town.
With a history of more than 2,000 years, Kashgar Old Town is situated in the center of Kashgar city. With 4.25 square kilometers, the population of the old town is 126,800, all of them are Muslims. Kashgar Old Town is the only town with Islamic character and in maze-design. Nowadays, people in the old town are still scrupulously abide by the traditional custom and the old houses. You could never find a place like this anywhere in the world.
The adventure will be finished in Bishkek. Do not forget, if you need a visa to Kyrgyzstan it should be double entrance visa!
