Description: This is a trekking tour to the Sary-Chelek Lake and other Lakes which are located nearby. On this amazing trekking, you will fully enjoy the views of Sary–Chelek Lake from different panoramic points. Also, during trekking we will visit such Lakes as: Kara-Suu and Iri-Kel; they are no less beautiful and amazing being surrounded by mountain ranges.
Lake Sary-Chelek is located on the territory of the Sary-Chelek Biosphere Reserve. Sary-Chelek Lake (yellow bowl) is 7500 meters long and 2280 meters wide, in some places the depth reaches 234 m. It was formed as a result of tectonic activity of underground plates about 2000 years ago. The water in the Lake is unleavened and clean; in such water you can clearly see the inhabitants of the Lake. Sary-Chelek is located near the junction of the Chatkal and Atoynak ranges, in the Western Tien - Shan and it’s one of the largest lakes in Kyrgyzstan.

You will also be able to get acquainted with the life of nomads, and of course you will see the moraine Lakes such as Sary-Chelek, Iri-Kel and Kara-Suu, which are fascinating. Arrival at Manas airport. Meeting with a guide. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. After a short rest, there is going to be a city tour of Bishkek - the capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will get acquainted with the uncomplicated architecture of the city. Visit Ala-Too Square which offers a magnificent view of the snowy peaks of the Kyrgyz ridge, green parks, and more. Bishkek - Toktogul reservoir (300 km / 5 h). Breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred to the Toktogul reservoir through the Too-Ashuu pass. Lunch will be on the way in Chichkan gorge. Here you can also take a short hike to the birch grove (the hike is about 3 hours). Upon arrival, accommodation is going to be in a guest house. Meals: Breakfast/ - /Dinner.
Toktogul - Aflatun. From Toktogul you will be transferred to Aflatun settlement and further to the confluence of the Aflatun and Utur rivers. Today we will drive to our first campsite; lunch will be on the way. Arrival at the campsite. Setting up a tent camp at an altitude of 1300 m. Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
South Aflatun River - Uyalma River. Trekking to the upper reaches of the South Aflatun River to its confluence with the Uyalma River. Trekking up to the South of Aflatun River. Lunch. After lunch, we will continue our trekking going up the gorge of the South Aflatun River to the confluence with the Uyalma River. Setting up a tent camp at an altitude of 2100 m. Distance - 19 km/7 - 8 hours. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.
South Aflatun - Kuldambes Pass - Sary – Chelek Lake. Trekking over the Kuldambes pass 2750 m and then descent to Lake Sary-Chelek over the Ashuu pass 2551 m. from the pass, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Uyalma valleys and the Chatkal range. After a little rest, we will continue our way to the Ashuu pass. From the Ashuu pass, we will have a magnificent view of the Sary-Chelek Lake itself. Then we will start our descent from the Ashuu pass to the valley of the Sary-Chelek Lake. Setting up a tent camp at an altitude of 1900 m. Distance - 10 km/5 - 6 hours. Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
Sary-Chelek - Makmal pass - Kara-Suu valley. Trekking up along the Sary-Chelek River to its confluence with the Makmal River. The trail here is not obvious, it winds along the river. First we will reach the alpine meadows, and then hike to the Makmal pass 2654 m. Lunch. After lunch we will continue our trekking descending along the Kurumdu River to the valley of the Kara-Suu River. Setting up a tent camp at an altitude of 2000 m. Distance - 13 km/6 - 7 hours. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.
Kara-Suu valley - Kara-Suu Lake. Today we will have an easy hike. We will continue our descent down the valley of the Kara-Suu River to the Kara-Suu Lake (Kara-Kamysh). The Lake is very beautiful and the gorge in which it’s located is no less beautiful. From the lake we will admire the Min-Teke mountain range. Lunch. After lunch you can relax and take great pictures or ride horses. Setting up a tent camp at an altitude of 1800 m. Distance - 12 km/ 4 - 5 hours. Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
Lake Kara - Suu - Kuturma Pass - Lake Iri - Kel. First, we will go along the Kara-Suu lake and climb the Kuturma pass 2446 m. The trail to the pass winds between juniper trees and rocky ledges. We will reach the pass from which there is a fascinating panorama of the southern part of the Sary-Chelek Lake. After admiring the view we will begin our descent from the pass. Soon we will reach Iri-Kol Lake. Setting up a tent camp on the shore of the Lake, at an altitude of 1800-2040 m. Distance - 12 km/6 hours. Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner.
Lake Iri - Kel - Lake Sary - Chelek - Osh city. The final trek from Iri–Kel Lake to Sary-Chelek Lake, 5 km, 1.5 hours. Trekking runs along numerous small Lakes with turquoise water. Meeting with the driver, transfer to the city of Osh 320 km/6 hours. Lunch on the way in a local cafe. Upon arrival accommodation at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast/-/-
Osh - Bishkek. We will have a small city tour in Osh. We will visit the bazaar that is one of the largest in Central Asia. A variety of products will surprise even the most fastidious buyers. The ascent to Suleiman-Too sacred mountain. The mountain is located in the heart of the city. Here we will get to the observation deck and the house of Babur that are located at the very top of Suleiman-Too. You can take a break after climbing the mountain in the shade of the trees. Closer to the evening you will have a flight to Bishkek. Accommodation in hotel 3*. Meals: Breakfast/-/-
Departure. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. End of the program!
