Three-days adventure in Kyrgyzstan

Transfer Bishkek – Arkit. It is better to start early in the morning around 5-6 AM. The way will take 500 km and 10-12 hours. We will cross the picturesque pass Too-Ashuu in Suusamyr valley.

We will stop in a narrow Chichkan gorge for lunch in a local restaurant near the main road. You can try local popular dishes: lagman (noodles with meat and vegetables), shorpo (soup with meat and vegetables), plov (rise with meat), manty (dumplings).

Then we continue the way enjoying the views of Toktogul reservoir, mountains, rivers and green valleys. We will spend a night in a local guest house. Dinner will be organized there.

The road to Sary-Chelek Lake. After breakfast we will drive to the lake. It takes about 20 km to get there. We will make stops at panoramic points to make pictures of the panoramic views of the valley. You will see lots of wild tulips in spring and bright pink flowers during the summer time. Mountain slopes are covered with million colorful flowers.

The final point of the trip is Sary-Chelek lake. It is surrounded by steep shores and high fir trees. We will organize a picnic at the beautiful meadow with an incredible view to the lake. It is possible to take a boat and get till the end of the lake. It will take us 1,5 hours to get there. The length of the lake is about 7 km one way.

Then we will return back to the guest house in Arkit village. Local kids are usually friendly with tourists and will be happy for some small presents and sweets.

Transfer to Bishkek. . The trip to the lake is already finished and now we need to drive back to Bishkek. On the way back you can try national drink kumys in Suusamyr valley.
