Ascent to the C.A.M.P. Summit (5250m). An early start ensures the best conditions. The route follows a steep scree slope, leading to a pass beside a towering rock formation. Thanks to previous acclimatization, the ascent becomes more manageable. Sections between rock spires ("gendarmes") require the use of safety equipment.

After 5–6 hours of climbing, you will reach the summit of the 5250m peak. If the weather is clear, expect a breathtaking panorama of Central Karakoram, including the famous K2 (8611m).

(Denis Urubko is one of the few climbers who has summited K2 from both the North (China) and South (Pakistan). He will share remarkable stories about winter expeditions and extreme mountaineering.)

The descent to base camp is followed by a trek back to Skardu. That evening, the team will celebrate the success of the climb with a film screening featuring Denis and Maria’s past expeditions.
