Ascent to Yukhin peak and Ginger Katya
(Yukhin peak 5130 m and Ginger Katya peak 4131 m)
The ascent to Yukhin Peak 5130m — is a trekking route that does not require any special equipment. During this week-long program you will be able to get acquainted with the life of mountaineers, enjoy the views of snow-white mountains and flowering meadows. You don't need any special experience to climb, and the only equipment you will need is good trekking poles. The route is technically considered simple and allows you to climb to the top without special mountaineering skills. With the right preparation, good acclimatization, you will definitely be able to make the ascent, enjoy incredible views, as well as add to the collection of your ascents.
Ginger Katya Peak 4131m is the easiest and closest peak to our base camp Achik-Tash. From the top of Ginger Katya Peak you will have magical views of the lakes of Achik-Tash valley, as well as views of our magnificent mountains. From the top you will be able to face the whole route to the top of Lenin Peak. At this altitude you can get good acclimatization and make an ascent to Yukhin Peak.
Asia Mountains Base Camp is a small home like corner, well equipped and uncrowded place with all you need for the comfortable staying and full recreation. There are spacious barrel tents with wooden flooring and mattresses. Each tent has light and socket to charge gadgets. The territory of the camp is lit. There are recreation zones. You can find the dining yurt, where you can spend evenings and drink tea.
In the BC meals are served three times a day, including vegetarian, gluten free and other types upon your request. There is drinking water from the clean spring. Hot shower, comfortable toilet. The C1 at 4,200 meters is also equipped with the comfortable tents with wooden floors, shower, toilet, water. Meals are served three times a day with respect to guests’ food peculiarities.
From Osh to the Base Camp there is a highway, the way will take about 4-5 hours. Climb Yukhin Peak and Peak Ginger Katya with one of the best guides: Nikolay Totmyanin, Alexey Krivoruchko, Andrey Lukin, Daniil Tyuryumin, Alexey Bobkov, Ivan Mysiv etc.
