Trip to Sary-Chelek lake

Bishkek - Talas (350 km / 6h). Today we will meet at the "Asia Mountains" hotel. Acquaintance with the guide and all of the trip participants. Departure to the city of Talas through the Susamyr Valley. We will enjoy the beauty of Suusamyr valley. During the spring appear first flowers and in the summer slopes covered with bright green colors.
Next, we will go to the Talas Valley where we will see varieties of Kazakh steppe tulips in spring and other flowers. Our experienced guide will tell you about the mountain flowers and plants. In Kyrgyzstan one may find many unusual plants some of which are listed in the Book of disappearing species. We will take a short walk along the nearest slopes, take pictures of beautiful views of the valley and delicate flowers of harsh highlands. Upon arrival in Talas we will be accommodated at the guest house where a hearty dinner will be prepared.

The city of Talas and its surroundings . Today we will drive to the Talas Range along its mountain gorges and foothills. These gorges are rarely visited by tourists. We will for sure not meet other groups and will be able to enjoy the natural silence and relax from the city noise. And of course we will observe the whole beauty of mountain flowers and plants. After a walk we will have a picnic in nature. The guide will set up a table and comfortable chairs. What could be better than a lunch with a view of the mountains? We will return to the guest house in the evening. There we will have a delicious dinner.

Talas - Chichkan (210 km / 3h). Transfer to the Chichkan gorge. Upon arrival, we will be accommodated in a guest house.
If you are tired of the road you can relax in the guest house, listen to the sound of nature, relax and have a good rest. If you can’t sit still then you may go with a guide to the mountain lake. One way will take about three hours. On the way we can admire the beauty of the Chichkan gorge. Dinner at the guest house.

Chichkan - Sary-Chelek (290 km / 4.5h). Today our main path will run along the Naryn River. On this site, the Naryn river is perhaps the most picturesque. We will definitely stop and take photos of this unusual emerald green water. A wide, flat river is sharpened by rocky massifs and changes color depending on the weather and the color of the sky.
At the very beginning of the Ferghana Valley, we will turn off the road and go to Lake Sary-Chelek in the same named reserve. Overnight and dinner at the guest house.

Lake Sary-Chelek . We will spend our whole day in Sary-Chelek reserve. We will take a walk to Lake Irikul and hike up to the observation point. During the spring you will see : tulips, peonies, irises, eremurus and many others. Apple trees, cherry, plum and other trees are in full bloom. During the summer all the valleys will be bright green. And the autumn will be full of colorful trees.

Transfer back to the city of Bishkek (590 km / 10h). Today we will head back to the city of Bishkek. The road will take about 10-12 hours. The path will be beautiful and picturesque. We will again pass the Toktogul reservoir and stop here for lunch. We will try local fish and enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful water surface. Then we will again drive through the Chichkan gorge and the cold Suusamyr valley. Tired and happy we will return to the city with many picturesque photos and positive emotions.
