Week tour to the peninsula

Arrival. Arrival at the airport of Elizovo. Transfer to the hotel. Rest after the flight.

Acquaintance with Kamchatka. Today we will gather in the city center for an excursion dedicated to the history and culture of the region. We will visit the museum of local lore or the interactive museum "Volcanarium". We will listen to a lecture at the museum and take a sightseeing tour of the historical monuments and places of military glory of the city.

The foot of the Avachinsky volcano. After breakfast, we will drive to the foot of the Avachinsky volcano (50 km, 2.5-3 hours). Arrival at the base camp (750 m above sea level) where a light lunch will be organized. Next, we will go on a hiking tour to Mount Camel (1250 m), which offers stunning panoramic views of neighboring volcanoes and the vast expanses of the Pacific Ocean. Hot lunch will be served as a lunch-box.

Mount Camel (1250 m) is a nature geological monument. It is located on the pass between Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes. In fact, these are frozen lava flows - the result of eruptions and movements of the earth's crust. The mountain has two sharp peaks, that’s why it got such a name. Transfer to the city.

Sea cruise on Avacha Bay. Today we are going to board a boat in the seaport. We will go on an excursion around Avacha Bay and to the natural monument - Starichkov Island (6 hours). The rocky shores framing the bay are inhabited by thousands of birds; ringed seals, seals and sea lions rest and raise their offspring on the sea beaches. Killer whales are usually seen here. The journey extends to the exit from the bay to the Pacific Ocean. If you wish, you can take part in ocean fishing and be sure to get acquainted with sea delicacies - sea urchins, crabs and starfish. Lunch will be organized on board of the boat.

Return to the city in the evening. Meals: breakfast, lunch
