Kamchatka is the land of volcanoes
(Week tour to the peninsula)
Kamchatka is one of the largest volcanic regions in the world, as well as the largest region of mountain glaciation in Russia. Kamchatka has a huge number of hot springs, more than a hundred thousand lakes and about three hundred volcanoes 30 of which are active. In 1996 they were included in the UNESCO Natural Heritage List. This place has the highest density of their location in the world; some are only 20-30 km apart.
Volcanic eruptions and related processes in the bowels of the Earth - thermal springs and geysers - form the basis of the landscape here. On an area of 38000 km² there are a variety of manifestations of volcanic activity: extinct and active volcanoes, mud pots, geysers, steam-gas jets, mineral and hot springs.
To come to Kamchatka in the summer means to get the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the local nature and get unforgettable memories and impressions for a lifetime. Traveling to local attractions will give an unforgettable experience of communicating with wildlife. Brown Kamchatka bears live here in dense forests, salmon fish spawn in clean rivers, and walruses, seals and sea otters may be seen on the sea coast.
In summer, travelers make trips to the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes; they admire bottomless mountain lakes and amazingly beautiful waterfalls.
Most of the tourists come here in the summer for fishing. You will 100% catch fish in Kamchatka. There is a huge amount of fish in its rivers: sockeye salmon, halibut, smelt, greenling and others.
If you still don't know how to spend your vacation, come with us on an unforgettable journey in the land of volcanoes!
