Horse tour to Khakassia
(Along the "Path of Ataman Solovyov")
The route passes along the low-mountain and mid-mountain ridges of the Kuznetsk Alatau with an ascent to the mountain "Khizir-Teren", translated from Khakass as "harsh sky", the height of which is 1855 meters above sea level. We will as well approach the foot of the "Celestial tooth" mountain with a height of 2170 meters above the sea level. This route is also attractive for its alpine and subalpine meadows which are replaced by tundra and snow-white eternal glaciers. It is such a pleasure to slide down the glacier on a hot summer day!
On the route, you will encounter mountain gullies, canyons and mountain lakes. Another highlight of this route is the fact that during the years of the civil war white ataman Bat’ka Soloviev was hiding on one of the mountains, and the young red Commissar Arkady Gaidar, who commanded a regiment at the age at which our modern children finish school, single-handedly was sent to capture him. Since then it has been named the Bandit Mountain. According to the stories of the old people, Soloviev hid all his plundered gold on this mountain. Adventurers and romance seekers still believe in the preserved treasure, so treasure hunters can often be found here.
This route was opened relatively recently, but it is already becoming traditional for many horse trails lovers. The area of the route is ecologically clean. There are 4 people working on the route: instructor, security guard, cook, and driver. On the route, transport support (UAZ) is used. All equipment is delivered by pack horses and a car.
