Lenin peak guided groups 2023
For a successful ascent to a seven-thousander, you will need endurance and good physical preparation, while a guide will provide the right tactics for climbing and acclimatization. It is also necessary to know how to walk in rope teams and use crampons (as well as being able to put them on yourself before starting the route). Therefore, practice in advance.
Peak Lenin is considered one of the most accessible seven-thousanders because it does not have challenging technical climbs. However, it is important to remember that you will have to navigate through crevasses using snow bridges and specially built ladders. At high altitudes, strong winds and temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius can occur, so it is important to protect exposed skin and have sufficiently warm clothing. Other hazards can include avalanches, rockfalls, and so on.
Ascending with a guide will increase your chances of a successful climb. An experienced guide always knows how to properly plan acclimatization and the ascent strategy. "Asia Mountains" works with experienced, trusted, and professional guides who have been to the summit of Peak Lenin multiple times.
