Where to spend holidays in Kyrgyzstan
We are going to see the scarlet poppies of the Tien Shan mountains!
Route: Bishkek - Konorchek Canyons - Issyk-Kul - Karakol - Jeti-Oguz - Burana - Bishkek. We will cover about 1200 km in 2 days.
Program:
Day 1. Departure from Bishkek to Konorchek Canyons. Hiking 2-3 hours and lunch. Further transfer to Karakol. Dinner in the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2. After breakfast city tour in Karakol city. We will visit the ancient Church of the Holy Trinity and the Dungan mosque. Then departure to Bishkek along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. On the way we will visit the famous Jeti-Oguz gorge (seven bulls). Lunch on the way.
After lunch we will arrive at the historical and archaeological complex of Burana. On the territory of the complex there is an open-air museum (ancient petroglyphs). In the vicinity of the tower we will see poppy fields and take vivid photos. In the evening we will arrive in Bishkek.
