An art trip to Lake Baikal is an opportunity to escape into a fairy tale.
In five full days we will be able to see the most beautiful lake on earth in its icy attire. Walk on the ice, see the bizarre patterns that nature draws, hear the lake talk. We will visit the Architectural and Ethnographic Museum of Wooden Architecture “TALTSY”. Let's take a walk through the winter streets of Irkutsk. The main feature of the program is plein air and drawing! With a professional artistic mentor, the magnificent Zhanna Bhasker, you will be able to capture all the beauty of winter Baikal.
This journey will be a real icy fairy tale. Baikal is a place of power where we will be charged by nature itself.

Art tour program on Lake Baikal:
DAY 1. IRKUTSK - LISTVYANKA (March 5, 2024).
Arrival in Irkutsk. You will be met at the airport and taken to breakfast. After breakfast we will go to the Architectural and Ethnographic Museum of Wooden Architecture “TALTSY” (50 km). Next we will move to Listvyanka (20 km), along the way making a stop at the source of the Angara River - the only river flowing from Lake Baikal.
In Listvyanka we will stay in a hotel, and after a short rest, we will be able to write the first sketch based on our impressions of what we saw.

DAY 2. LISTVIANKA - OLKHON (March 6, 2024).
Listvyanka - Olkhon. Today we will travel from Listvyanka to Olkhon Island (via Irkutsk by car). The journey will take approximately 7 hours.
We will have lunch on the way. We will be taken to the ice crossing, and from there the LEGENDARY “loaf” - UAZ will pick us up and take us to Khuzhir. For many of you, this will be your first experience of moving on ICE. Just imagine, pure ice and we are driving on it. Wow! It's breathtaking just when you think about it about it!
By evening we will reach our hotel. And we’ll devote the evening to get-togethers and the game “Imaginarium.”

DAY 3. Olkhon (March 7, 2024).
Olkhon (we are painting the 2nd picture). This day will start slowly, because we will have the whole day to enjoy the creative process. For those, For anyone who wants to feel this place with their soul, we suggest meditating in the morning, soaking up the ancient energy of Baikal, its air, its beauty. Or you can just get a good night's sleep, which can also be considered an excellent meditation.
We will have a hearty breakfast, and when neither our brain nor our stomach distracts us, we will take care of beauty. The task for today is to capture the lake on canvas with oil paints under the guidance of Zhanna.
Even if you take up a brush or palette knife for the first time, you will be surprised at what your hands and your vision of beauty are capable of! Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4. Olkhon (March 8, 2024).
Olkhon. This day will be dedicated to Olkhon. Our excursion will take you through the most beautiful and picturesque places of the island. We will spend maximum time on the ice and, if you wish, you can order a photo session on the ice from a professional photographer who will definitely capture your admiration for the winter splendor of the heart of Siberia - Lake Baikal.
In the morning we will go on the most popular excursion on Olkhon Island - to Cape Khoboy. Beautiful panoramic views of Baikal open before your eyes, and in good weather you can see the Holy Nose Peninsula and Ushkany Islands from the cape. We will see Grottoes, Parus Rocks and Shamanka, and all the transfers will be on ice, which will also be an amazing discovery and a unique experience, because in winter Baikal turns into the world's largest ice skating rink. DAY 5. OLKHON - IRKUTSK (March 9, 2024).
Olkhon - Irkutsk. This day after breakfast we will return to Irkutsk. Upon arrival, we will walk around the city, if time permits, we will look into the art gallery or art space “Port”, where you can buy something with the soul of Baikal as a souvenir. Hotel Victoria.

DAY 6. IRKUTSK - MOSCOW (March 10, 2024).
Departure. Today the car will take you to the airport or railway station of the city of Irkutsk, from where you will go home full of energy from a mysterious and amazing place, full of new ideas, strength and, of course, incredible emotions from visiting the mighty Lake Baikal.
