With Elena Dudashvili and Zhanna Bhasker
Every time I come to Kyrgyzstan, I want to take out my brushes and paint. It was the same during my last visit at the end of May - beginning of June 2022. On the second day after arrival children and I went on a short trip around Issyk-Kul by car, we had to check how one of the tourist programs was going and at the same time travel a little ourselves.
After I began to practice painting and take lessons from professional artists, I began to look at the world from a different angle. It's like I'm overhauling the landscape into layers and this allows me to see the details. The world around begins to play with completely different colors, brighter ones. And after we spent the night in a yurt in the Jety-Oguz gorge, I wanted to take this memory with me, so after coming back to Bishkek, the painting “Morning in a Mountain Gorge” was born. Zhanna Bhasker, the artist I'm studying with, saw my work on my Telegram channel (https://t.me/travelsupportad) and wrote to me that she would really like to go to Kyrgyzstan to paint. It was then that we had the idea to create a week-long Art Tour and completely devote it to painting.
What is painting for me personally?
This is a kind of therapy, the ability to completely disconnect from all problems, the ability to create, the ability to fill myself with energy from the inside.
Do you want to try?
On August 27, 2022, we will go on an Art tour in Kyrgyzstan. We have chosen wonderful places around the most beautiful lake on our planet - Lake Issyk-Kul. Believe me, even if you have never held brushes in your hands, you will be able to succeed. I have no art education, and I never studied art but look at my paintings, I think they are good enough to hang on the wall at home and remember the journey. And the picture can also be a good gift-souvenir from the trip.
