Ala-Archa Gorge is located in the Kyrgyz Ridge, which stretches for 375 km. It starts in the Boom Gorge and ends in Kazakhstan, near Taraz. The highest point of the Kyrgyz Ridge is the Semenov-Tian-Shansky Peak 4875 m.

Many climbers and mountain tourists begin their journeys in Ala-Archa, where they hold gatherings, training sessions, and acclimatization before tackling higher mountains (such as climbing Lenin Peak).

Famous worldwide, the Ala-Archa Gorge is just 40 km from Bishkek (about an hour’s drive). You can reach the alpine camp by car, and from there, the trekking route begins. The altitude of the alpine camp is 2100 m.

Ala-Archa offers more than 100 routes of varying difficulty. This program is suitable for those discovering new trails and peaks, as well as for those preparing for more challenging climbs.

The program includes gradual acclimatization. You will visit incredibly beautiful places: mountain lakes, glaciers, waterfalls, and the Uchitel Peak at 4530 m. The route difficulty is rated as 1B, which means you can reach the summit without special equipment, simply wearing trekking boots (during warm weather).

You are likely to see wild animals, including mountain goats, pikas, stoats, and marmots, among others.

Day
1

Arrival at the airport “Manas”, meeting with the guide and transfer to the city of Bishkek 30 km - 40 minutes. Accommodation, breakfast, short rest. After the rest, transfer to the Alamedin valley, a walk to the waterfall, lunch on the way in one of the local cafes. In the evening return to Bishkek, overnight at the hotel, you will have free time in the evening.

2

Bishkek - Ala-Archa 40 km take 1 h. . Today we need to wake up early, having packed our things and for breakfast we will go to the Ala-archa gorge. On the way we will stop by the store, where you can buy food for 2 lunches (day 2 and day 3). Upon arrival, accommodation in a guest house, a radial hike to the Golubina glacier, 3,860 m/10 km one way. On the way, it takes 7 - 8 hours. In the evening we will return to the Guest house for overnight and dinner.

3

Trip to Adygene lake. Radial trip to the lake Adygene. The lake is located in the Adygene valley, at an altitude of 3,560 m. One way 11 km, on the way, it takes 8 - 9 hours. In the evening return to the Guest House for dinner and overnight.

4

Trekking from Alplager to Ratsek hut. Trekking to the Ratsek hut, 3300 m. On the way 4-6 hours. Today you can not rush anywhere and take your time to have breakfast. After breakfast, we collect our things and go. A hot lunch will be waiting for us in Ratsek hut. After lunch, walk around the neighborhood or rest. Accommodation in a hut.

5

Trekking to Uchitel peak 4530 m. You will have breakfast Ratsek hut. After breakfast and you will take lunch with yourself, we go to Uchitel Peak. The route is trekking, the trail is mostly visible. Lunch at the summit, weather permitting. Descent after lunch. Return to Ratsek hut, you will have dinner and overnight in the hut.

6

Ratsek – Alplager - Bishkek. Descent 3-4 hours. Meeting with the driver, transfer to Bishkek 40 km. Upon arrival, accommodation in a 3* hotel.
