This route passes through the great cities through which passed the caravans on the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. They brought tea, carried away silk, exchanged goods and experiences. As a result, in the most ancient cities lots of traces of the past are left, in the form of clothing, food, caravan sheds and much more. Parallel with the trade, of course, these cities have evolved in different directions. You will be able to see the way of people’s life, hear the stories and legends, and taste the food of the ancient cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz and Tashkent.

Day 1 - Urgench-Khiva
Arrival in Urgench by HY 616 at 21:00. Moving from Urgench to Khiva. Accommodation at the hotel, free time.
Day 2 - Khiva
Breakfast. Start excursions. Khiva is called an open air museum, its culture and language are fundamentally different from other regions of the country. The towering dome minarets, madrasahs and mosques are not far from the residential areas of the townspeople. You will see the biggest mosques of Khiva, which turned more than thousand years. Visit the Khan's palace of eastern ruler, mosque-madrasah Atajan, Mausoleum Abdal – Bobo, get familiar with the culture and architecture. Dinner at the restaurant. Continue sightseeing. Visit the Ichan Kala. This is an internal fortified city. An important landmark is its layout, which retained the network of small streets and dead ends of the typical old eastern cities. The complex includes such historical sites as: Kun Ark Kalta Minor, Muhammad Amin Khan, Tash Hawley, Ak Mosque, Pahlavan Mahmud Islam Khoja. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3 - Khiva - Bukhara
Breakfast. Moving from Khiva to Bukhara. The road passes through the Kyzyl Kum desert and the Amu Darya River, here we will be able to see Kum Reserve - home to ibex and large lizards.
Lunch on the way. Arrival to Bukhara, accommodation at the selected hotel. Free time.
Day 4 - Bukhara
Breakfast. Start excursions. Beautiful Bukhara is a city of thousands of legends. The narrow shadowy streets, bazaars under the arches of the domes, almost every town has its own history. Bukhara is a small city, but an abundance of landmarks makes it really great. Since ancient times there lived Eastern sages - Sufis, Avicenna, and the mythical character - a cheerful Khoja Nasreddin, whose statue stands in the heart of Labi Havuza. You will visit the Mausoleum of the Samanids, Chashma Ayub, Kalon Mosque and Madrasa, summer and winter palaces of the Emir, Chor Minor, Labi Hauz, Miri Arab. We will continue our tour to madrasah of Ulugbek and finish it in the trading dome, where the time seems to stand still. Taking a walk under the arches of the domes, you feel like a resident of the ancient times. Bukhara bazaar is another story. During a walk through the market, you will get acquainted with the real East. The widest selection of spices, ancient jewelry, textiles and skullcaps strikes the eye of even the most experienced person.
Day 5 - Bukhara - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand
Breakfast. Moving to Karshi, on the way we will see Kishlak Hodzhailgor, in which once Amir Temur was born. Upon arrival we will begin the excursion program.
Shakhrisabz is the birthplace of the great military leader Tamerlane. It is also called the city of miracles, because of the healing springs. You will visit the Ak Sarai Palace, the Mausoleum of Jahangir, the Mausoleum of Saadat and Dorus Kuk Gumbaz. Lunch on the way. Next we will move from Shakhrisabz to Samarkand. Arrival in Samarkand, accommodation at the selected hotel. Before dinner we will visit the winery of Khovrenko where the famous taster Haydaraka will take us through the winery's history museum. After that we will go to the tasting room to try the best wines, which were sung in Rubio Omar Khayyam and cognac Samarkand, so much loved by the Russian government. Especially for Medvedev the limited edition cognac – “Crown of the Empire” was created. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6 - Samarkand
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in Samarkand. Rome of the East, the pearl of Central Asia, a tasty morsel for many of the world conquerors and the capital of Tamerlane. You will visit the observatory of Ulugbek - the greatest astronomer, Registan square - the center of the Silk Road and the resting place of Sultans and padishah Siyob bazaar, necropolis Shahi Zinda - city of the dead, but with an incredibly positive and peaceful energy. On both sides of the narrow streets there are small mausoleums under the blue domes decorated with turquoise marble. In the old shops you will be able to see photos of old Samarkand and its inhabitants, the Gur-e Amir - the mausoleum of the great Timurid Empire, which holds the remains of Amir Temur - the commander, who didn’t lose a single battle in his life.
Day 7 - Samarkand - Tashkent
Early breakfast. Departure to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent. Start sightseeing in Tashkent with a visit of the old town, in the center of which the Mechetnaya Hast Imam Complex is located, which houses one of the oldest Korans Osman, brought by Amir Temur, the complex is located on Tarikh street, where you will find old houses built of clay. Next we will visit one of the largest bazaars in Central Asia - Chorsu through which passed the ancient caravans. After reviewing the historical part of the city, we will move into the modern part of Tashkent. Then, after dinner, we will have an opportunity to see one of the main sights of Tashkent - Independence Square and the Opera and Ballet Theatre called after Alisher Navoi, the park and the museum of Amir Temur. Farewell dinner at the National restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8 - Tashkent
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight.
