Ala-Archa National Park

The valley of Ala-Archa river is one the most picturesque sights of Bishkek surroundings. Here, in the narrow valley of ordinary small river you may see a concentration of wonderful, stunning landscapes, waterfalls and amazing rocks. Here is unexpectedly rich flora and fauna, so that many people suppose this region to be a symbol of Kyrgyz ridge (Ala-Too).

Alamedin Gorge

Some people say that the pleasing thing cannot be healthy; we say it is possible and offer you a trip to Alamedin gorge which is only 25km far from Bishkek. This is the second biggest gorge of Kyrgyz ridge known to the locals as “Hot Springs”. In this gorge in Soviet times on the base of hot mineral springs on the height of 1981 m above the sea level the holiday house was built. Nowadays it doesn’t work but the pool with the hot water coming from the springs is still there. The water in the pool is about 30C where you may swim with pleasure and good.

Burana Tower

Burana Tower and its surroundings Burana ancient settlement are located in 12kms from Tokmok town. According to research of historians and archeologists this settlement are the ruins of ancient city of Balasagyn – a capital of Karakhanid khaganate. The city was funded by sogdians in VI-VII and later got the name of Balasagyn. It was developed city with communication lines: roads, water supply systems, social structures. Running water was coming from the foothills in 15-20 km, where reservoirs existed...

Belogorka gorge

Sokuluk gorge is better known among tourists as Belogorka gorge which is about 70km far from Bishkek. It’s known on the first place by its 60m. waterfall. Local people and Bishkek citizens come here on weekends to enjoy clean ionized air, have rest from city life and get close to the nature. The less known place here is the side Byorulu gorge. A huge goaf or a landslide which happened here many centuries ago is already seen from the road.

Kegety gorge

Kegety gorge is located in 75 km from Bishkek on northern slopes of Kyrgyz ridge. Its length is 30 km. There is a river of a same name, flowing in the bottom of the gorge. The river has many tributaries. The biggest of them is Kel-Tor tribute, which forms independent very beautiful gorge. In the upper gorge there is a mountain lake with a water of turquoise color. The lake is located at an altitude of 2725 m and it’s the most interesting object of visiting.

Eolian castles

From Greek language Eol is translated as God of the wind. Amazing glue and sand rock formations, named in honor of Eol, were created by wind and water during millions of years. Eolian castles, located in eastern part of Kyrgyz Ala-Too, take a vast territory. Dry, red canyons, full of xerophytes remind fantastic half-destroyed castles, ancient temples, modern skyscrapers, columns and spires.

Middle age cities of Chu Valley (Historical tour)

From the ancient times on the territory of nowadays Kyrgyzstan a Great Silk Road was going its way from Europe to China along which many settlements and caravanserais were located and even today we may see their ruins. Kyrgyz range, geographically belonging to the northern Tien-Shan frames Chu valley from the south. All tourists coming to Kyrgyzstan may clearly see it’s sparkling summits from the very ramp.
